Woodlawn is more than just a museum; it is Ellsworth's largest public park. It is truly a part of the community, and we invite you to come and enjoy the park, gardens, and grounds which are open year round, sunrise to sunset.

Trail Improvement Project

Woodlawn Museum has organized a group called "Friends of the Woodlawn Trails", which is raising funds and looking for volunteers to help improve the trails on the historic estate. Starting on May 28th and concluding on June 11th, a team from the Maine Conservation Corp will be on the property, working on the trails. The Museum is looking for volunteers to learn trail improvement techniques and to lend a hand, as well as donations of supplies and materials from area businesses. For more information or to volunteer, contact Joshua Campbell Torrance at 667-8671 or at director@woodlawnmuseum.org.
